Why Kim Kardashian loves her minimalist home amid the ‘chaos’ of her life

Dealing with chaos. Kim Kardashian said she kept her interior design monochromatic in cream tones to help her relax amidst a busy life.

“Everything in my house is really minimal,” the 41-year-old said voguefrom the “Objects of Affection” series in a video posted on Friday, February 18. “I find there’s so much chaos in the world that when I come home I want it to be really calm and I want everything to be soothing.”

The reality TV star shares four children with her ex-husband Kanye West: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2. The kids all have their own bedrooms plus a playroom filled with all the colors they could want.

“I have the playroom full of clutter. Bedrooms – one is pink, one is purple, one is blue, one is dinosaurs,” Kardashian explained. “It’s like every kid can have their own style. and his likes in his room and having fun, but in the main house, I really like the quiet.”

The KKW Beauty founder is also surprised that her kids are keeping the mess in their designated areas. “Amazingly, four kids didn’t spoil my creamery,” she added.

Kardashian’s search for peace and quiet comes amid her divorce from West, 44, which she filed for in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage. She filed to be declared legally celibate in December 2021.

“The parties’ marriage is irretrievably broken. [Kardashian] no longer wish to marry [West]said the court documents, noting that there was “no possibility of salvaging” the marriage. “There is no doubt that the parties’ marriage is no longer viable. [Kardashian] has no desire to reconcile with [West] and wants to end their marriage.

However, West posed three conditions in order to back up the statement in February 2021. According to the documents, West asks that Kardashian “not transfer the assets of any trust” they created together and that she relinquish “marital privileges.” until a custody decision has been made. This would allow all communications between them to be included in court records. A third stipulation pleaded for the “right to reimbursement” to remain intact in the event that one or the other died suddenly before a final judgment on the assets was rendered.

The “Power” rapper’s attorney says Kardashian rejected the terms. A hearing will be held in March.

Outside the courtroom, West attacked the selfish author’s new pal, pete davidson, through Instagram. He’s made it clear that he wants to find the mother of his children, and he doesn’t like the Saturday Night Live star, who Kardashian was first linked to in the fall.

While at Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, West shared another attack on Davidson after he claimed the comedian would never meet his kids.

“HOLD YOUR SPOUSE CLOSE TO YOU, MAKE SURE HE KNOWS HOW MUCH YOU LOVE AND APPRECIATE HIM BECAUSE THERE’S A SKETE LIES IN EVERY DIRTY ASS ALLEYS WAITING TO HELP YOU DESTROY YOUR FAMILY AND WALKING CALVIN KLEINS AROUND YOUR CHILDREN,” he wrote in part.

He went on to add, “I WISH MY WIFE WAS WITH ME AND OUR CHILDREN SITTING AT THE 50 YARD LINE @kimkardashian ALWAYS REMEMBER WEST WAS YOUR BIGGEST W.”

As the “Donda” singer airs her grievances publicly, Kardashian said she wants to make sure her kids don’t see any negativity between their parents, even calling herself West’s “biggest cheerleader” in Vogue cover story in March.

“You might be so hurt or mad at your ex, but I think in front of the kids it always has to be ‘Your dad is the best.’ … It doesn’t matter what you’re going through personally,” she told the fashion magazine. “For so long I’ve done what made other people happy and I think over the past two years I’ve have decided, I will make myself happy. And it feels really good. …I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I chose myself. I think it’s OK to choose you.
