Ready-to-wear brand Veronica Beard, founded by sisters-in-law Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard, will open its first store in Atlanta on Monday, November 22 at Buckhead Village (211 Buckhead Ave NE). The company’s second standalone boutique in the South East will sell cult classics of the luxury line such as dickey jackets and diving pants, as well as dresses, jeans, outerwear, shoes, swimsuits, etc.
Buckhead’s reputation as a dining and shopping destination has made it a great place for an independent store, says Swanson Beard. “We obviously open all of our stores based on where we know our customers, and Atlanta has always been a good market for us based on past wholesale events we’ve had in the neighborhood.”
The brand’s exclusive bricks and mortar offerings will include a selection of day and evening dresses, resort outfits like swimsuits and jumpsuits, an extensive denim collection and a wall of dickey jackets. For the winter season, shoppers can expect luxury outerwear, printed velvet suits, sheepskin clogs and other on-trend pieces, says Miele Beard.
“People are ready to dress, travel and go out again, and we want our offers to reflect that,” she continues.
The boutique’s decor reflects its classic, modern aesthetic, with a vintage rattan sofa upholstered in Schumacher Zanzibar linen, marble coffee tables, and tiger-print velvet curtains in the walk-in closet.
Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the store will also participate in the company’s quarterly philanthropic initiative #VBGIVESBACK, with special in-store shopping events and a percentage of profits donated to donations. local and national charities. cause.
