TOWIE and Brentwood star Sam Faiers ‘wants to be the next Holly Willoughby’ as she signs new contract

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers is aiming to become ‘the next Holly Willoughby’ after signing a huge new contract.

The 31-year-old Brentwood reality star reportedly recently ‘swore never to return to Essex’ in the hope of shedding her old image for good.

Reality TV star Sam moved into his luxurious Surrey mansion with partner Paul Knightley before the pandemic hit in March 2020, and the pair have been enjoying the views of the scenic countryside ever since – but the big move isn’t only the beginning for Sam.

The proud mum-of-two, who shares son Paul Jnr, six, and daughter Rosie, four, hopes to follow in the footsteps of This morning career star Holly Willoughby, The mirror reports.

Sam, who is preparing to welcome her third child with Paul, is “eager to forge a new identity,” according to insiders.

Talk to Magazine closera source said: “Sam thinks letting go of her Essex roots and immersing herself in the community of Surrey – where she has already made a number of famous friends – will help her create a more exclusive image and high end of itself.

“It has also motivated Sam to continue building her empire. She wants to expand into other countries and even launch her own parenting app and lifestyle platform – like her idol Holly.”

The news follows Sam’s announcement last year that she had signed an exclusive deal with Tesco, worth £3million, to launch a range of baby baths.

Just like Holly, Sam has already published her own baby book, My Baby and Me, which came out in 2016, and collaborated on a range of pushchairs in 2018.

Sam’s decision to leave The Mummy Diaries alongside her sister Billie is also tied to her wanting to take her life in a different direction, the source adds.

“The real reason was that Sam wanted to try a new direction,” the insider said.

It comes after a source recently told Heat Magazine that Sam is keen to shed her Essex image and leave her TOWIE roots behind.

“She wants to continue building her brand as an affluent housewife. She really admires Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham and wants to follow in their footsteps by giving herself an epic makeover,” the source said.

And Sam’s image overhaul is said to have caused tension between her and her friends in Essex.

The source continued: “It’s caused a bit of tension with her friends and family as they can’t help but think Sam is abandoning her Essex roots, but Sam has been clear that she doesn’t. does not exclude everyone from his life.

“Everyone is welcome to visit her whenever they want, but they won’t be catching her having a night out at Faces anytime soon.

“She has worked hard to shake off her Essex past and all the stereotypes. She is proud of how far she has come. She has just changed and wants a better life for herself.”

Representatives for Sam have been contacted for comment by The Mirror.
