At Single Mothers Outreach and Closet on Main, we’re ready to start a new chapter. We are ready for new starts and we want to start the year by saying THANK YOU!
2021 has been rich in constant adjustments and yet we have had many beautiful moments. Over the past year, we have received countless phone calls from people offering help. SMO has continued to serve our families with goods and services, without interruption. We are grateful to our caring community.
Since the beginning of the year we have received Easter baskets for the children, food and gifts to celebrate Mother’s Day, school supplies for our special back-to-school event, gift bags and costumes for a Halloween event, food baskets for the Thanksgiving event, and incredible support for our Adopt a Family program. Donated clothing, food, diapers and hygiene supplies were always available for SMO families.
We realize that the list of people, churches and local businesses who partnered with SMO last year is really long. At this time, we would especially like to recognize the wonderful donors whose invaluable contributions made our holiday program event possible. CrossPoint Church, Norona Insurance, Cintas, Auto Nation Honda and Frontier Toyota. Special thanks to Nick Amaro, whose heart of Santa Claus brought hundreds of smiles to the children and made a night to remember for all of us.
We would also like to mention some of our major local donors who partner with us to fund our programs and support single parents. Real Life Church, Vance Wealth, Dorothy and Chester Smith Charitable Foundation, North Park Church, AMS Fulfillment, Mission Valley Bank and the City of Santa Clarita.
Finally, thank you again to all of our generous sponsors who participated in one way or another in our flagship fundraising event Empowering HeArts. We deeply appreciate all of our in-kind sponsors whose expertise and talents allowed us to present a great event and raise funds to continue serving single parent families.
