The Texarkana Texas Police Department posted on their Facebook page:

In light of the growing number of COVID cases, hospitalizations and deaths in our area, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s National Night Out event on October 5 in Texarkana, TX. Will they have the event next year?

They said they were looking forward to their National Night Out event in 2022. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
