Scarlett Johansson and Henry Golding named David Yurman ambassadors

Giving glamour! David Yurman tapped Scarlett Johansson as one of their very first celebrity ambassadors – and the 37-year-old actress looks simply stunning in the brand’s Come Closer campaign.

The photoshoot and accompanying short film were filmed at the Carlyle Hotel in New York City and pay special homage to the Black Widow the roots of the star.

“Growing up in New York, I always felt connected to David Yurman. I would see their beautiful black and white ads in all my favorite fashion magazines,” Johansson said in a press release shared with We weekly. “The Yurmans and their designs have always epitomized New York for me – bold, fresh and just a little edgy.”

She went on to explain that when the brand’s new president Evan Yurman asked her to participate in the campaign, she immediately replied “yes”. “I already felt so connected to the brand that it was a natural fit,” added Johansson.

Naturally, the Marvel alum looked comfortable during the photoshoot. And she’s proven that over-the-top jewelry goes with just about any outfit. She wore mixed metals and layered chains with sweatshirts, button-down shirts and blazers.

“Scarlett is the embodiment of David yurman women. Hailing from New York at the peak of her game, Scarlett is a woman forging her own path. She doesn’t take no for an answer and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself and what’s right. Yurman said in a press release. “Having the opportunity to work with a force like Scarlett to create such honest images, deep in their lack of pretension and artifice, is an honor.”

Johansson isn’t the only big name to feature in the campaign. Henry Golding was also used to model the men’s collection. Bonus bracelets, rings and chains, the boobies rich asian star has proven that men can rock bling.

Even though the star wasn’t born in New York, he feels right at home in the Big Apple. “There is a New York magnetism and tenacity among New Yorkers that is hard to describe, but still infectious. I have been fortunate enough to visit the city many times for personal and professional reasons, and each time I feel a greater sense of belonging,” Golding said. “David yurman is a testament to the city’s heritage and values, and I’m honored to be the face of a brand whose timeless works of expression continue to connect us all.
