Here’s a look at the Memphis Week 7 high school football games, based on information and stats submitted to The Commercial Appeal:

Lausanne 21, ECS 7: Craig Cunningham broke a scoreless tie with a 49-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter and the Lynx held on in the home win. Cunningham finished with 185 yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns. He scored on a 5-yard run with 8:54 to go. Ben Bolton returned the second half kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown. Bennett Brady put the Eagles on the board with a 14-yard TD early in the fourth quarter.

Briarcrest 30, MUS 28: The Saints got to work early with JD Sherrod connecting with Max Carroll on two touchdown passes, and despite a furious rally from the Owls, Briarcrest held on for the home win. Mac Owen and Hunter Barnes helped MUS’s comeback with touchdowns. After a return from a punt blocked by Wyatt Solberg for a touchdown, the Owls took a 21-17 lead in the fourth quarter. The Saints, however, got a pair of clutch touchdowns from late Caleb Donaldson and Ahmad Miller. Owen ended his night with 181 receiving yards and two runs for the Owls.

Dyersburg 29, Covington 22: The visiting Chargers continued to lead the ball with authority, but the road victory slipped away. Covington had 59 carries for 357 yards. Jalen Fayne had 20 attempts for 195 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown. Jamarion Dowell had 23 attempts for 144 yards, with a 25-yard touchdown rush.

Houston 9, Bartlett 6: All the points for this defensive fight were scored in the first half. The winning touchdown came from DJ Grayson Jr., who had a 2-yard run in the second quarter for the Mustangs. The Panthers scored in the first quarter, when Tony Cox netted a sack and a forced fumble – and Marco Tyson returned the free ball for a 7-yard touchdown.

Brentwood Academy 25, CBHS 7: Bright spots included another 100-yard running game from Dallan Hayden, but the Purple Wave was outmatched in the road loss. CBHS avoided the shutout in the fourth quarter, when Ashton Strother scored from seven yards.

Northpoint 27, St. George’s 13: Jack Patterson won the quarterback battle with Wilson Whittemore in the Trojans’ home win. Patterson threw touchdown passes to Jackson Thomason and Darius Naylor. Cooper McCoy kicked a pair of baskets for Northpoint. Whittemore hit a touchdown pass, while the Gryphons also scored on an interception return in the first quarter.

Center Hill 27, Lewisburg 17: The Mustangs received a pair of touchdown passes from Marq Holmes en route to the road victory. A 45-yard touchdown from Jamarius Jones helped Center Hill take a 20-3 halftime advantage. Amari Dawkins also scored for the Mustangs, while Myles Smith and Easton Fesmire scored in touchdowns for Lewisburg.

Sheffield 26, Memphis Business Academy 0: Behind Mark Joseph’s 285 yards of attack, the Knights drove to victory. Joseph threw for 155 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 130 yards in just five carries.

Middle College 45, Bluff City 0: The Bulldogs got two touchdowns apiece from Antonyus Moore, Brandon Mitchell and Keeveon Ransfer in the convincing win. Ransfer returned an 87-yard interception for his second score in the third quarter.
