Land of the Fanns announces school travel fund

Schools considering planning a trip to an environmental or heritage site can obtain funds to cover transportation costs through the Land of the Fanns Landscape Partnership Scheme’s School Transportation Fund. The fund is open to all schools in the Pays de Fanns territory, but applications must be submitted and trips made before March 2022.
The area encompassed by Fan Country: Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Thurrock, Brentwood and South East Essex, is rich in fascinating places for all school age groups to visit. Schools located in the program area can apply for assistance to cover the cost of local heritage transportation and outdoor educational tours through funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for KS1-4.

The application process is quick and easy. Please visit for details. The Land of the Fanns team can be contacted by email: [email protected] if you have further questions.
